Broken heart

From the minute i saw you i knew you were mine.
it only took one date, i couldn't get you off my mind.
the more we talked, my love for you grew.
who would have thought I'd confess my love for you.

i should have listened when you said we wouldn't workout.
but i said to you, i thought that's what chances were about.

but you made up your mind i wasn't the one.
& all i could do was cry because you & i were done.

so i decided to move on & be strong.
but thats when everything just went wrong.

you called me four days later & told me you were sad.
i took you back, & everyone grew mad.

my love for you made me insane
but two weeks later my heart was back in pain.

my best friend told me that you had a girlfriend.
my heart broke in pieces because finally this was the end.
months went by, you and her seemed so happy.
& here i sit left to feel empty.
