Unsteady

by Iola   Apr 8, 2008

I'm warped, distorted, unbalanced, free;
You are patient, caring, wholesome and calm.
I'm all those things because I want to be;
You like a diamond lying in my palm.

I'm grateful, adventurous, cold and bleeding;
You are warm, curious, careful and understanding.
Always getting full from whatever I'm feeding;
I prefer to take off; you love the landing.

I'm darker, deeper, playful and polite;
You are rude, robust, relaxed and ready.
Who really cares what is wrong, what is right?
When one is out of rhythm and the other is steady?

I'm cool, collected, crisp and clear;
You are wonderful, wary, away and aside.
Sometimes I am far, and sometimes I'm near;
Sometimes I just need to hide.
