Hello Stranger

by Midnight   Apr 8, 2008

Hello Stranger
I passed you in the hall today
You look like you're doing great
Seems like you've moved on
Not a hint of painful memory

Hello Stranger
I almost greeted you today
A friendly hello or wave
I had to stop myself though
I knew you wouldn't have like it

Hello Stranger
You'll be glad to finally know
I've moved on with life as well
Though I still miss you
Really I do, with all my heart

Hello Stranger
Every day I wonder why
We can't just be friends
Get along just fine like we used to
Like the days before I messed up

Hello Stranger
I've finally decided what to do
I'm letting go for good
Never looking back
Forgetting everything about you

Hello Stranger
Now when I pass you by
You'll just be another face
A part of the crowd I don't know
Someone who I've never met

Hello Stranger
Maybe we'll be friends someday
Years and years from now
We'll run into each other
Friendships will spark again

Hello Stranger
As for now enjoy yourself
Live the life you've always wanted
Just remember if you look back
I'll always be there when you crack

Hello Stranger
Before I go and leave you
I wish you luck in everything
I hope you find happiness
And Friendship everywhere
