You held my hand,
And led me out,
Thoughts running through my head,
What's this all about?
You stumbled your words,
Which gave it all away,
You left me broken and speechless.
I didnt know what to say,
Shaky hands,
I couldnt meet your eyes,
My heart was screaming,
Full of pain and cries,
I held my head up high,
I tried my best to be strong,
For i knew this had to come to an end,
I knew it all along,
I still watch the way you look at her,
The way your smile crosses your face,
With your heart in your eyes,
I can see it start to race,
I cry inside to see it,
And i just cant let you go,
You left me for her,
And once again my blood stops to flow,
My heart stops,
My breath sinks back out,
I will never stop being hurt i know,
I should've known what it was all about,
I will never be able to look at you the same,
Or touch your hands or hug you,
Never be able to kiss your lips,
Never be like we used to,
Im going to miss it all,
By i will be okay,
I will get over it soon enough,
But that day is not today.
