Ego

I let my ego free.
But what did that get me?
It brought a world of pain and despair.
I may sound emo,
but it's true.
Don't let your ego get to you.

    I like it, short but straight to the point. You're supporting Freud's theory of personality! But back to the point, liked the pome.

    Maybe you should get rid of the word 'go' after ego in the first line, it just seems to be odd and affects the flow.
