HOPE

by Diz   Apr 11, 2008

Hope is a word we are taught when young
Hope is a key of fingers crossed
We learn to hope day and night
When young we always hope
Hope that pocket money will buy
Hope that the gift will be what we pray
Hope is strong words used as we grow

As adults hope carries so much more
More than that bike or doll we dreamed off
Hope is a word used by many around the globe
Unselfishly we hope everyday
We hope that our solders come home
We hope that poverty ends
We hope that life, as we know it exists forever
We hope that life is better for all.

Hope is that word we HOPE!
Collectively WE hope that we hope
Hope is a strange word but yet we use it daily
We use that as an expression of heart felt
Hope a term of we desire, we trust
The possibility of change or fulfilment
We hope, we believe, we have confidence
Hope we feel that change will come about,
We are all full of hope,
We use this as a symbol of the future we want,
Hope in just that Hope.

I love the word Hope
It fills me with so much,
More than any other English word
After all using Hope gives me just that
A symbol of hope for mine and your future to never end
