Black Rose

I wish she were mine,

This girl of my dreams.

But being friends,

Is all that it seems.

To prove that I'm worthy,

To prove that I'm right.

To mean that one day,

Our love might ignite?

But for now it lay still,

In between two thick walls.

There's things in the way,

And it makes the rain, fall.

But in the dark of the night,

It steadily grows-

So beautiful.. yet cautious,

Just like a black rose.
