The Crimson Hue

by LitxUpxWithxLife   Apr 12, 2008

How could you do this to me?
I thought we were meant to be.
You told me that you thought the same.
Now I see you're just a lying dame.
You took what you wanted and left me cold.
I love you too, just another lie you've told
So I scream out loud with an eternal rage.
Feeling once again that I'm locked in a cage.
I clench my fist tight as it hits this bag.
Later I wipe the blood off with a dirty rag.
I'm tired of crying, so I put my emotion in a punch,
I hit the bag so hard I feel my hand crunch.
Another broken knuckle dedicated to you.
The anger clouds my mind in a crimson hue.
The one thing in this world that I want, release.
Panting hard, wearing a blood stained fleece.
I cover my crimson hands,
Listening again to my favorite bands.
Willing the thoughts of you away,
Yet here they come a different day.
Will it ever end and just let me be.
The suffering I feel, hidden so no one can see.
