Today was jess's first birthday
i wasn't even with her for it
its all my fault things ended up like this
i should have done more to keep her

if i had her back i know i would be alright
i would stop self harming and be myself
knowing i could go home to her every night
she makes me smile more than anything

I'm sorry you got taken away to where you are
i punish myself everyday to show you I'm sorry
i don't deserve to live after watching them put you in that car
i will make it up to you i promise even if i have to end my life
