Desperate For Reflection

by Naomi Lynn   Apr 15, 2008

The beauty of her world,

dwells upon her face,

her confidence and pride,

is her own untainted grace,

desperate for reflection,

to keep her image near,

she pauses to gaze upon her face,

in each and every mirror,

outside her world of beauty,

is a world thats passing by,

how much she'll lose and how much she'll miss,

while fixed upon her pride,

she gazes subtly at the mirror,

to escape all detection,

though time fly by and age will come,

she remains desperate for reflection
