Where Were You On Valentines Day

Valentines day
Has been and gone,
Unfortunately I was ill
I suppose I'm in the wrong.

I didn't chose for this
It was a nasty stomach bug,
It's been 48 hours
Surely now you can give me a hug.

So unsympathetic
Do you know how you make me feel,
Anyone would think it's you
That was stuck in bed feeling ill.

Stressing about work
And how you have so much do,
Why can't you ever put me first
Instead of only ever thinking of you.

Making me feel worthless
Like I'm nothing to you,
Not even a bunch of flowers
After everything i do.

Am I being ungrateful
If I am, please tell me so,
The only thing I'm certain I'm not
But maybe I am and just don't know.

I'm trying to tell you
You don't appreciate me enough,
I do everything I can for you
And in return all i want is your love.
