Forever (Bubba's Prison Poem)

Sitting In the dark

Staring at the wall

Tears rolling down

To the cold hard floor

How much longer

Do I have to endure

This cold heartless place

Let me out

Set me free

Jesus my Lord

Please comfort me.

I feel nothing.

But the still hot air

I need to feel you.

Everywhere within me

I feel the same.

Each and everyday

Nothing changes.

I repeat the same things

Every time I wake.

I need to get out

I need to feel free

Keep holding on

That is what I have been doing

Holding on

Holding on

Dont let me fall

Give me wings

So I can fly

Away from all this anger

Away from all this pain

Away from all this hurting

All these people

Locked up in here

No one can get out

We are all trapped inside

Pray to God

He knows your sins

Ask for forgiveness

He always will give it

One day we all will be free

Walking the streets of gold

We all will be with Him

One day this world will be over

We wont live in fear

We will all live in happiness

All our wrong doings

Will be no more

Something to look forward too

As we are here for now

You will never be alone

One day it will be over

And you can be free

Forever.
