My Heartbroken Heart

My heartbroken heart longs to be free,
knowing its love will never be.
It tries to stop loving,
It tries to break free.
But my heartbroken heart knows it cant flee.

My heartbroken heart is locked up and shut,
It sits there and cries like a pain in the gut.
It had its highs and its had its lows,
now it is stuck and will never expose.

My heartbroken heart cannot stop loving,
No matter how much it keeps pushing and shoving.
Theres something about her,
something that says, "You cannot resist"
If only this love just didnt exist.

My heartbroken heart longs to be free,
Will my true love ever be?
Now all I can do is wait and see,
will I ever find the key?
