This Pain.

The hitting
and the kicking
the people who
say they are just kidding
can't kid with me anymore
these bruises and scrapes
are coming faster and clear
when my parents see
it's their biggest fear
they see one and then another
soon they'll be yelling at each other
this is your fault
i shouldn't have let her go
to a place where people
could hurt her even more
this pain won't go away
to know that you
have to see me this way
i'm sorry i'm all bruised up
my scrapes keep bleeding
i don't know why these people like to hurt me
but i hope they know they're succeeding.
