The way they put you down

All the times you hit the ground.

Remember what they said
About you behind your back,
Remember how you felt
Thinking maybe you deserved their cr ap.

They got inside your head
With all your feelings that they hurt,
Inching deeper into your wrist
With each of their spoken words.
