Why?!( Coming from a lil girl's eyes! )

Why do they fight
so much? Is it something
I have done to screw up
again?

They fight every
night and daddy gets
so mad and hurts mommy!
I am so scared daddy is
going to hurt mommy so
bad that she won't survive,
why won't he stop??

Oh no..... daddy just
pushed mommy down, he's
hurting her, what do I do?
Screaming in my mind,
"Daddy please stop hurting
mommy,please, I'm sorry
for everything?" But I can't
get the words out!

Its my fault mommy and
daddy got in a fight, it is
my fault mommy has two
black eyes. If I end my life
will the fighting stop?

It is Christmas Eve today
and I'm so happy! Mommy and
daddy have not faught in about
a month and a half, yay.....
Oh no, No Daddy stop, stop it!
I wish I could do something! Daddy
pushed mommy down today and
hit her.... I could not do anything,
but hide in the corner and cry!

I'm scared it won't stop! Daddy
gets too mad but I have to do
something! Im scared though!
