With You Gone...

by Latosha Conatser   Apr 21, 2008

There are so many things I want to say,
But I keep them locked deep inside.
You'd have to tear my walls away,
Just to see what I've decided to hide.

You came into my life so suddenly,
You caught me at a time when my guard was down.
How was I supposed to know what you'd do to me?
That you would turn my life upside down.

Who would have thought you were capable of such a thing?
You made me promise not to say a word,
About the promise ring.
You have no idea how much that hurt.

You said you were in love with me,
That you wouldn't know what to do if I wasn't in your life.
But look at what you've done to me,
You left me hanging on for my life.

Now that you're gone,
And I'm all alone.
I don't think I can go on,
And make it on my own.

You have described your emotions very well...but the structure was a little off.. you can do much better...
also the ending was little faded compared to rest of the parts.. overall it was a nice write...
