I'm so confused
I can't think straight
Whenever I see you,
My brain seems to wait.

My eyes stare numb,
My body all tight,
My mouth seems locked,
My head floating light.

But then again I see you,
And this time it's a little strange,
I thought it was you who numbed me,
Maybe I have changed.

Even though you're not the same,
or at least you're not to me,
Deep down I'll always know,
That we were meant to be.
