If i should die

by Carol Chambers   May 26, 2004

If I should die. Will you still think of me.
Will I always hold a special place in your memories.
Will the things that you think of me, be of the good of me.
Will you have forgiven of all the things that couldn't be.
Of what you wanted of me
If I should die.
Will you live for me. Will you try to be the best person that you can be.
Will you try not to make the same mistakes that you saw in me
For if I should die.
I need to know that you will be okay. I need to know that you will hold onto the love that I gave to you. And let that keep my death from hurting you. For death is not a choice.
It is a destiny not just for me but also for you
It is not a punishment from God. It is a beginning of a new life on the other side. Let my love that I gave to you in life be your guide
There is so much more that I wish that I could do with you and for you.
But I don't know if I have the time to make all that I wish to come true
My body some day will die. Please always remember this and try not to cry. For this I say is not a lie. My love for you can never die. And my spirit of love will forever be with you by your side
