Anywhere But Here

by brie kelly wise   Apr 26, 2008

Haley cries every night wondering where everything went
She watches life go by while she tries to find something to run after
When nothing comes, she lights one and smokes herself into disaster
Morning comes and she's too blind to see any light
She's too messed up from whatever happened last night
Her brain messes with her every second, telling her things
Like how she would be better off if God made her with wings
I know she'd be better off away from this place she fears
I know she'd be better off anywhere but here
