Feelings

by Yolanda Carter   Apr 27, 2008

I have all these feelings trapped inside me waiting to break out. I feel like I am in jail waiting for my parole. Day after day hoping and praying I hear those magic words. I have nothing but time to think. My imagination runs wild and I am forced to hear the voices of my inner child. Days turn into weeks and weeks turn into years. Feelings start to surface and I can no longer hold back the tears. That’s why I’ve decided to take the time to look inside of me and discover the person that I used to be.
