No Cure For This Disease

by NICOLE   Apr 28, 2008

Sleep little boy
Forget the home you have found broken
Forget that there will be no cure
Forget the pain you have endured here
Forget that your sins are not pure
Forget the sleepless nights that haunt you
Forget your failure sinking in
Forget the walls built all around here
Forget the battle you can't win
Forget your broken soul unmending
Forget the dreams that you have lost
Forget the shattered hopes that plague you
Forget the blood spill you have cost

Sleep little boy
in silence
For morning brings the light
and brings with it
Forcefully
all the dark of night
