More Than My Father

My family always says
that I will turn out to be someone.
But that someone I never,
I never looked up to for along time.
All I know is that I will never,
never look up to him.
My father has been a complete,
a complete jerk in my life.
He left my mom before I was,
Before I was born
then he came back.
When I was twelve he,
he tried to say that I was not his.
But now here I sit thinking,
is my family right that I will turn out like him.
Well let us just say that I have,
I have already told the girl of my dreams
that I will be More Than My Father.
And I plain on keeping that promise.

    :'( this poem is something else Justin. You are such a strong person and I admire that. You never give up hope on things and I like that about you. I'm sorry about what happened in this poem. You are a great guy and what your dad said about you not being his was not right. That's not a good father. But I know you will be bro. I just know. I'm so proud of you. You're just so amazing I can't even describe the words I want to say.
