Question the Answer

Where do you go when you don't have a home?
when it seems that nobody cares?
What do you do when all that you knew
seems to vanish into thin air?
Where do you turn when your soul is all burned?
when the night is your only true friend?
Who do ask when you're wearing a mask?
all you have is this paper and pen.
I went through this and not a soul tried
to bring me out of my dream.
No one could save me from what I'd created;
the wreckage of my own reverie.
So who, what and where? I asked in despair;
why is this happening now?
Does anyone care? Is someone out there?
Please God, send someone somehow!
But nobody comes as the years drone on
and I'm left more alone and confused.
"But someday" I thought "you'll all have forgot
the girl that everyone used."
