Colour of my life

by shadowknight   Apr 30, 2008

The blank canvas,
so white and pure,
lacking the colours,
i formally adore.

We add some yellow,
the colour of dandelions,
the happiness serum.

Next blue,
the clear oceans and skies,
the sadness behind eyes,
the forgotten tears.

Now red,
anger and displacement,
fury and rage,
and spider-man.

A splash of green,
for the grass so pure,
hidden smiles,
and masters of envy.

Now we begin to darken,
with a pot of black,
the bad luck,
following the stripes on my page.

Looking back on my portrait,
the colours of my life,
i know one colour,
i surely forgot.

A new beginning,
a new life,
happiness and frowns,
drowned in white.

The canvas smiles up at me,
dripping pure white,
life begins again,
with a new goal insight
