Power of music

by fragiledoll   Apr 30, 2008

She repeats it over and over again.
Things will work out just fine, just fine, just fine.
It hurts, she tells herself, it hurts so much to forget.

Her music playing softly in the background.
Her head tilted to the side.
Her eyes half open and tired, tired of trying.
Her body starts to shake uncontrollably, as her body breaks down & releases her most inner pain on this night.

She starts to yell, a faint yell with no hope, 'I'll be okay soon.'
She finds herself saying, 'everyone just leave me alone.'
but she is, she has been and feels like she always will be.
She's mixed up & afraid.
She feels helpless & weak, when on the outside, she is seen as strong with a good backbone.
She writes to release her worry, to notice her demons, to show she is sensitive and not strong at all.
She wonders when she is alone, will i ever be saved and will this sad life she's living in the present, be a thing in the past or future.

Her music still plays, but shuffles to a more upbeat tune.
Her body starts to control itself and her eyes open up.
Her heart is thankful and hopeful as she begins to hum to the music.
