Life, a journey
from birth till last breath
for some, a struggle
caught in an ugly spider's web
Love is life, say many
A pleasure, for few
a blossoming flower
for others, a standstill
waiting for their life's clock to tick away

Walking through thorns,
lying in the path of life
Facing the world,
despite constant defeats
Keeping up a smile,
curbing one's tears to fall
Holding onto someone precious
then, parting ways midway
Is what one calls as life

Break away from the dark
the day after is unforeseen
sprinkle life with sparkling stars
showering inner beauty and strength
therein born a new life
from a seed of pure heart and soul
creating the journey of life
as beautiful as a rose
