I don't understand,
why people have to be the way they are,
why do they have to go on day by day,
trying to be someone they ain't,
there all the cliques at school,
the preps,jocks,nerds,Goths and freaks,
Why do you have to be labeled?
why do you have yo wear the clothes you do?
to try to fit in, to be in a group,
soon you start talking like them,
you don't care what others think,
because you are now someone known,
Everyone knows the preps,
as the ones who always have dates,
and dress their best,
Everyone knows the jocks,
as the ones who sleep in class,
and only talk when is has to do with sports,
Everyone knows the nerds,
as someone who gets straight A's,
and wears clothes that fit them,
Everyone knows the Goths,
as people who wear black all the time,
and people think they worship the devil,
Everyone knows the freaks,
as someone who wears clothes no one else does,
they have a million tattoos and piercings,
Everyone knows me,
as someone who doesn't care,
what others think.
I'm my own self,
i don't need people to tell me what to wear,
how to act,what to say,
I don't need to be in a clique or group to feel wanted,
i don't want to be known to the school,
so why do you want to be labeled?
