Fire within me

Can't you see,
the fire within me
is burning oh so bright.
i know you can see it day or night.
the fire is dimming
can't you see,
only because your hurting me.
all i am is an ordinary girl
whose life is spinning
like a tilt-a-whirl.
i'm dizzy and confused
what lifes suppose to be
but now you expect so much from me.
all i'm asking is for you to loosen the reins.
let me be who i am
gotta go my own way

    I can appreciate the feeling behind the words...
    Maybe it wouldn't hurt to clean up the spelling a bit, it makes it easier to understand.
    I like this bit:

    "all i am is an ordinary girl
    whose life is spinning
    like a tilt-a-whirl."

    because I really feel that way myself sometimes, that it's not me who's strange, it's the things that are happening in the world I happen to live in!
    By the way, what's a tilt-a-whirl? Or is it a concept?
