THE LONG WAY HOME

Once upon A time
Not too long ago and not so far away!
There was A little boy searching,
For a better place to stay !

He wanted A better life,
One that was made of gold!
So he soon began to follow ,
Life's long and winding road!

On his journey he went ,
To see what he could find.
Not knowing he was leaving ,
What he wanted far behind!

He met along the way,
A junkie, A dealer , and a very mysterious man!
They said , come and go with us,
We have A wonderful plan!

We're going to see the wizard,
Would you like to come and see?
He has all the answers,
And to life , he holds the key!

The mysterious man said, lets go!
We'll see many new things along the way!
We'll take you through the cocoa fields,
So we can rest and play.

They continued on their way,
Without A worry, or A care!
Not knowing the wicked witch,
Was above them in the air !

Just look at that fool ,
How stupid can he be?
I bet that he thinks twice,
After meeting me!

Soon he saw the witches face,
He was scared as white as snow!
So he ran into the cocoa fields ,
As fast as he could go !

He finally fell asleep,
Thinking it was safe to stay !
Little did he know ,
Of the danger coming his way!

He never knew A thing,
He slept through the attack!
But when he awoke,
He found A monkey on his back!

So he ran to find the Wizard,
To get from him , THE KEY,
The monkey was about to kill him,
He had to be set free!

He said help me MR Wizard,
I don't know what to do!
I only started this journey ,
To try and find you !

He waited, and he waited,
Without A single word !
So he waited A little longer,
But no voice was ever heard !

He thought , there must not be A Wizard,
I guess my life is through!
This must be the end,
GOD I don't know what to do !

Then GOD said ,I'm sorry you waited so long,
To waste twenty years is A shame!
But you were running from the truth,
You have no one to blame!

If only you had called out to me ,
For I could not have lied,
when you started your journey,
You had the answers already inside !

And as far as those three,
You met along the way,
They were sent by the Witch,
To lead you astray !

I will take you back home,
And make you healthy, and strong!
To be with your FAMILY,
For that is where you belong!!!

So go back to your FAMILY,
And teach them to follow my narrow path!
So they are not easily led astray,
To suffer the Witches wrath!

Just read to them from my word,
And teach them right , from wrong !
And they will grow up like they should,
And have A life so full and long !

Just do these things I say,
I will shine A light for you to see,
And you will have A life so good,
NOW, AND FOR ETERNITY
