Sweetened Disaster

by brie kelly wise   May 4, 2008

Looking through the pages of a sweetened disaster
Rain fell and washed away all of my innocence after
It hit deep inside as I shed all of my light
Just to see the beauty of black and white
Dreaming of insanity, crying for a beautiful storm
I changed so fast and no one was warned

Broken and loving the tragedy
Turning words into another pitiful story
Tears turn to wine and trouble turns to night
Days turn to fallen leaves and black turns to white
Calls come from lonely voices that somehow want me home
I'd come back if only you would've kept your promise that I would never be alone
