A POET'S PARADISE

by Jim McMillen the man within   May 4, 2008

Poetry is more than just words of rhyme,
It is A style of attitude!
Seeing the beauty of life, However hard the time,
The acceptance of nature , by showing gratitude !

Often I've drank from the well of life,
I have been there once or twice !
Washing away my troubles and strife,
gently flowing , To A POET"S PARADISE!

Yes paradise has A location,
It is found so deep Within,
But to reach this beautiful destination,
First you must begin !

To feel , to release , to explore , and see!
Becoming A part of the beauty around,
Letting your loving kindness flow free,
That is how paradise is found!

Start seeing what you're looking at,instead of trying to ignore!
And you'll see, that life is worth the price.
Because it is so much richer , than it was before,
You found this POETS PARADISE!

    A poem by Hellen Keller
Do you know who she is
she was born deaf, mute and blind
    -------------------------------------
I once knew the depth where no hope was !
And darkness lay on the face of all things.

Then love came and set my soul free . I once fretted and beat myself against the walls thast shut me in.

My life was without a past, or a future.
And death! ,,,A consumation , devoutly to be wished for!

But a little word from the fingers of another fell into my hands that cluched at emptiness , and my heart leaped with the rapture of living !

I DO NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF DARKNESS,
BUT I HAVE LEARNED THE OVERCOMING OF IT!
    Hellen Keller
