MY SEASONED HEART

LORD, Let my heart soar today,
But not regret that soon I must land!
And open my ears to what you say,
So MY SEASONED HEART, may soon understand!

LORD, Let my heart feel,
All of the beauty, that your eyes see.
So I may express, instead of conceal,
The tears of compassion, that you've shed on me.

LORD, Let my feet tread,
A steady path, away from this desolate land.
Of loneliness, and grief, that I constantly dread,
So that your beauty , I may truly understand.

LORD, Let my mind rest,
In your blessed assurance.
So I may give life my best,
As you strengthen my endurance.

LORD , Let my lips speak ,
Only words , of wisdom that heal.
So the treasures of my heart, that I longingly seek,
May soon come to pass, that I may once again feel.

LORD, Let my strength be wisdom in my battles of life,
So I may soon obtain my goal,
To hold in my arms, my children and wife,
I place it all in your hands lord , to nurture my soul.

LORD, Let your love shine,
Through the cracks , in my heart long broke.
And let my will be like thine,
So that I may rest , in the comfort of your yoke.

This is truly amazing. I can say that one verse is my favorite, they all are. I will add this to my favorite poems so that I can read it everyday.

If I had a prayer that was top of my list it would go something like this
    Dear Lord
Bless our friend Jim with happiness and grace as he has blessed us with his wisdom and words. Keep him safe and open the eyes the ones close that they might see what a wonderful man is within

    You're loved my friend
