What is A poem?

It's the expression of A thought ,
Seduced by A feeling.
Its context has no limit,
Its value can bring healing.

Feelings, and desires, in your heart that you hoard,
To release them on paper , makes the pen,
MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD!

Expressions of myself,
Not so easy to see.
To read them in verse ,
Is like me , looking at me!

To contemplate their meaning,
Sedates the problems of my mind!
To put their value to reality,
Can leave those problems far behind!

They ask not, many questions ,
Instead, you ask them of yourself!
They give not, many answers!
But lead you to them within yourself!

Search within for questions,
And many answers, you will find!
For nothing is more healing ,
Than A journey to the center of your mind
