Life's society

by Marcus blake   May 5, 2008

I want peace, no more war
I want money, I want war
While the poor pay the price
And the rich receive the prize
Children robbing stores going to jail
In the streets is where they tell
The tales of a hoodlum a gangster a thug
Heros of the street prevail
While people are wondering how to pay for school supplies
Getting in to college is hard no lie
Like 4 -5 years of high school isnt enough
We got 4-8 maybe 10 more years of college its sucks
How people cant afford to buy bit to eat
And homeless people is dieing out on the streets
Getting your G.E.D. is a for sophomores¢??
Who dont want to go to school anymore
Taking the quick way out working part time jobs
Like you'll survive in the world for long
Or young kids being fresh to the elders
Wise people once said listen and remember
Great words wore spoken of achievement
My dreams in life that I hope to complete ,and
(uh) But back to young kids like in high school
We got uniforms to wear its cool
Didnt ask any of use just came out the blue
Like umm! You wearing uniforms and we dont care
Well will you support the money so I can buy three pairs
First it was the cell phones then it was I-pods
Dont get me wrong I want a education
Make something of my life a successful creation
When I am like 27 I look back on my days
How I couldnt find a job now Iam getting paid
And If have to wear these uniforms I got a speech
We the students p r e s i d e n t i a l body
Ignored by the committee about the uniform policy
I hear were wearing red or black uniforms
I say we create a student reform
Or boycott maybe not a riot to crazy
Just to get are statement to be plain see
We the students of the school no community
We should have say in our school policy
Rules
Rights
Freedom
Fights
Its not fair we should have our say
Freedom had another word treating students like slaves
If we have to do this and we must do that
I dont mind just as long as were aware of the fact
