A BEAUTIFUL GIRL

A beautiful girl
with greed filled eyes
opened a present
with nothing inside
her melowful facade
faded to anger
she threw the colorful box
and pointed a finger
hells gate were opened
the earth split and cracked
her true self took control
she couldn't hold back
frustrated eyes
stabbed her lover
he stated in confusion
i gave you something i gave no other
she ignored his comment
it wasn't he who she loved
she loved what he could give her
and never considered
the box was filled with love

(this is dedicated to my brother...i hate to say i told you so but i knew she wasn't the one for you....and even though your depressed... one day you'll find that special girl who loves you for you ...and not what you can give her)

    This is a great poem.
    at the beginning i was confused but once i got to the end i understood it.
    it seemed like at the end you lost the rythem but its still a good poem.
