It seems like only yesterday
I fell in love with you
We shared so much together
And my love was oh so true

It began with both of us so young
You are forever in my heart
Now every day is filled with sadness
Because we are apart

I miss you more and more each day
As I try to understand
My heart controls my every thought
It has the upper hand

I love you more as time goes by
I know not what else to say
I think of all the fun we had
And now you've gone away

I hope and pray that things work out
That you find your way back to me
You know I'll be here waiting
Loving you for all eternity

    Damn hun is this about the gal you kept telling us about at work? Are you still pursuing her after all these years? Your devotion is admirable but at some point you've got to get on with your life if she's not accepting the love you carry in your heart for her. Great poem, I don't understand how she can resist a romantic like you!
