Smile

Everyday she puts on a smile
And laughed with her friends
But every night she would go home wishing
That it would all be the end

No one understood what was going on
No one ever took the time to ask
So she would hide all the pain and suffering
With a bright and friendly mask

She'd been through a lot
It seemed she had everything under control
Everyday it just got worse
She was falling into a deep dark black hole

If someone would've offered to help
She wouldn't be this way
But no one could see past the smile
So she continues to suffer each day
