Stranded.

by Brittany   May 7, 2008

I know you're left behind.

I'm not so ahead myself.

Funny how we're fighting for shotgun,
When they've already driven away.

I know you can't see the bend.

It's alittle questionable from this side of the road.

Funny how we've put our faith behind the wheel,
Of hands that are not always sober.

I know you're feeling the cold.

I could use a little company too.

Funny how we can't get along,
When we're all we have.

I know you said some things.

I know I didn't hold back either.

Funny how that line can be such a divider,
And not maintain the peace at all.

I know you're waiting for them.

I haven't lost faith either.

Funny how we're seperate beings,
But so similar that it makes us sick.

I know you've changed.

I know it was always in my heart to change too.

Funny how I can know almost everything,
And still be stranded.

Even funnier,
I'm stranded with you.
