Some people don't realize
What they have until its gone
After telling them you aren't meant to be
You lied cause you knew you were all along

People don't realize
That they let their mind decide
Just what's right and wrong
And what they need in their lives

People don't realize
To let their heart have a say
That the hearts decision is different from the mind
In each and every way

People don't realize
Who and what they don't love
Until that person hurts them
And that's gods sign from above

People don't realize
That with just one mistake
All your life long dreams
Can shatter and break

People don't realize
What they say and what they do
Until you have your lover
Yelling “WE ARE THROUGH!”

People don't realize
That they cant go back in time
They cant change what's happened
Trust me I’ve already tried

People don't realize
That just because someone lies
It doesn't mean don't trust them
It doesn't mean they don't deserve another try

People don't realize
That we are all human
Everyone makes mistakes
Every man and every woman

So don't say its not meant to be
If that's not what's true
Don't let your mind always decide
What's best for you

So just because you’ve been hurt
And they have made a mistake or two
Doesn't mean to blow it in proportions
And tell them ya'll are through

So don't try to change what's happened
Because the past is the past future is now
So just because someone lied
They deserve another try even if you don't know how

Its okay everyone does
So people just realize
