Beach

Toes sink in the sand
Whoosh and swoop of the salty waves
Warm mixed with cold covers my feet
I am one with the elements

Gulls overhead, soaring free
Kites tugging against their tethers
Sharp breeze reminding me that I live
Makes me think I can fly

This is healing time
