I'll do it 'till I die

by Lauren   May 8, 2008

The hands spin, the clock goes faster.
Time flies by, and I can't stop it.
The schedule is what we live by.
The pressure is pushing me down.

Everything seems to be getting harder,
Like I'm treading water,
Fighting to keep my head above water,
It's too late, I can't fix my mistakes.
I just can't think, and I'm trying to escape.

So I leave and go where I want to be.
I want to reach the highest mountain,
Dive to the bottom of the sea,
I want to go so far away,
Until I find the real me.

I can't wait forever,
I'll do it 'till I die,
'Till I fill my insatiable desire,
To find hope in this life.

We can't wollow in the sorrow,
And pain from the past won't last forever,
So come with me,
Because I'm breaking free,
From this secret hell I live in.
