Papa

by Collin   May 8, 2008

Ever since I was a boy,
I always looked up to you dad,
Teaching me how to be,
Sharing whatever I had

Guide me once more,
Im lost in this broken place,
I need the guidance,
For the will I have to face

Did you love us papa,
Just tell me that,
The things you did to mama,
Would you take it all back

Do you remember that night,
With all that blood shed,
You said it's my fault,
You said I'd be dead

Ever since I was a boy,
I always looked up to you dad,
Teaching me how to be,
Sharing whatever I had

But now my father,
I don't know where to go,
You lead me a stray,
You played me a foe

Stuck in this closet,
Walls creeping in,
Stuck here waiting,
Waiting for it to end

I want to escape,
The walls, to get through,
Where is she dad,
Don't lie to me too

Inside these boards,
Lays pain that will dwell,
Not knowing it now,
But my mother as well

Wow that was great, the repeated stanza works well in this case, and the ening is very good as you did not state the facts you very cleverly used a code sort of way to tell us what he meant.

well done this is good work xx
