Conviction

by Alexander   May 8, 2008

Innocent until proven guilty is what they say,
but from the beginning i had no chance at all
to fight for my freedom.

I had no choice in the matter of my demise,
it had already been planned form the beginning
by the devil himself.

I am doomed to walk a tortured life it seems,
a life were every one and thing is against me.

The sun has seized to rise above my horizon,
and for that i am in everlasting darkness.
The moon being my only guide,
but it simply guides me deeper into the night.

They told me i had a choice from the beginning,
a choice that set my path.
I wonder why they didn't realize
that from the beginning i was damned.

So as i sit here at the computer,
writing my little poem
about being guilty from the start,
I am waiting on death row.

((No i am not literally waiting on death row, it is just a figure of speech.))

    Spell check it.
You spelled proven wrong on the very first line.
    Fifth stanza as well.

I'm tryin' to understand your poem.
    I can't.
To be quite honest, it's just too loud in my house right now.

    But...I don't think I your ending.
    Maybe you should change it?

I guess what I didn't like about it is sayin' sittin' on your computer.

    I dont' know why.

Sorry if I couldn't be of any help :[
