Forever and Ever

by Alexander   May 8, 2008

Running

You can only do it for so long
before you have to stop.
Be it from exhaustion,
or simply giving up.

Praying

Sooner or later you must sleep,
which means you have to stop.
But only until you wake up.

Staying

You cannot do it forever,
because sooner or later you have to move.
Be it to another spot,
or even another town.

Laying

This you can do forever,
until the end of time.
All you have to do is pull the trigger,
and then your set for life.

((I hope some of you actually get the ending, its suppose to be ironic...))

    Damn.
    I suck.
I didn't get the ending at all.

    I do like this poem.
    It tries to explain life.

It has your own personality at the ending.
    It's... well, I don't know.
I WAS going to say cute.
But I dont' think you want that in a poem.
