A Love Like No Other

by Cristela Quiroz   May 11, 2008

Your smile picks me up when I'm down,
you are my lil princess that wears the crown.

Who would of thought I'd hurt so much to hear you weap,
or how beautiful you look even in your sleep.

How fast you will grow; inside I am in tears,
then I hear you cue and its music to my ears.

When your sick I worry and do all I can for your healing,
then I make you laugh and thats the best feeling.

When I think your overwhelmed with attention,
you cry to me for my affection.

My love for you will never vanish,
once upon a shooting star you were my wish.

This type of love is so new,
I thank the lord everyday for blessing me with you.

I am so glad and proud to be your mother,
nothing will break our bond because we have a love like no other
