13 Years Down the Drain

My best friend of 13 years,
if it weren't for my good strength I'd be in tears.

I can't believe it was that easy for you to throw us down the drain,
you'll realize what you've done but the close as your ever going to see me again is through your picture frames.

I can't believe your doing this to us,
you were always the one person I knew I could trust.

When were kids our peers always picked on you,
so I was always in trouble cuz because hurting them was all I wanted to do.

Growing up we had to split parts,
but the distance between us didnt change the fact that you were always on my mind and in heart.

We always kept in touch,
and my hands stiffed in pain from writing you so much.

Phone calls lasted till our phone batteries died,
and visits so exciting that we both cried.

Best friends since 1st grade!
conversations from dolls to the first time we got laid;

from picking colleges to go to, and being there for each other to help get things through.

Now I'm getting married, I want you to be my maid of honor
but where are you?

You only call once in a blue moon,
and there's no excitement in your voice anymore when I say "I'll be in town soon"

As a matter of fact when I'm there you never answer the phone,
Your car is in the driveway, yet, your not home (?)

If you had a problem, you should've talked to me about it in the first place,
now it's to late cuz I dont want to be best friends with a two face.

The reason of you doing this I just dont know, cuz I dont understand the actions that come from people whose level is so low.
