Whatever It May Take

I'll wait one thousand words
Just to hear you speak
I'll wait one thousand tears
For your touch to make me weak,

I'll wait one thousand whispers
For you to draw me near
I'll wait one thousand screams
For you to rid me of fear,

I'll wade through times' sand
For you to hold my hand,
For you to realize that this isn't fake,
I'll do whatever it may take.
