It breaks my heart to say this,
But in reality its a fact,
A fact that I can't go see you when I wish.
As much as I want to, I can't.
Reality is where we are,
As we stand with our emotions in our hands.
Feeling the way we do,
Seeing what we see.
Loving who we love.
As for fate, its what keeps us apart.
Its what keeps us from touching,
From being together.
In this war that is reality vs fate,
Fate always wins.
Score one for fate, that keeps us apart
Score one for reality that makes me love you.
