Lyrical Violence

by brie kelly wise   May 13, 2008

Spinning with sapphire legs, I'm lost again
Dying in evanescent arms, I've lost a friend
Reaching out from this lyrical violence
Colliding with our once ethereal silence
You betrayed our twisted, sweet nothings
And turned them into apathetic somethings
This blood loss is killing me but I know you find
Time to fall asleep when I'm pulling out of my mind
It's my last desperate attempt to find the truth behind this
And all the lies were supposed to have heaven written on it
But you've gone away now and chances are you're far
So no luck in hunting down my showcased heart
And as broken as I may be I find time to cry
At least it's better than being you, you must be dying inside
Don't you think I get tired of hearing your voicemail?
Cause nights like these I watch our love go to hell
When you can't seem to go any further with this
We were stupid, we were young and we are somehow in this
